Drop Inn has countless projects across the world. These, however, need money to work. One of Drop Inn’s main source of funds comes from its Charity Shops. It has worked hard to make sure, if you live in Northern Ireland, there is a shop nearby. Drop Inn also runs a number of shops in the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, and has opened up branches in the United States.
Why shops?
You stock the shops
The shops rely in your giving and donating. They take all sorts of goods:
- Clothes
- Furniture
- Ornaments
- Music / DVDs / Videos
- Electronic goods
- Bric-à-brac
If you have any of these that you wish to donate, simply call into your local shop. A number of shops also have reciprocals outside the shop open day and night. Drop Inn can also call round to where you are and pick up items.
More than just shops
Each Drop Inn charity shop generates employment and volunteer opportunities for interested, local individuals. The shops also provide a service to the community by accepting discarded items for resale.
