Kerala Flood Disaster

Drop Inn
Updated

Devastating floods have killed scores of people in Kerala, south west India.

Around 200 people have been killed already, but worries are growing that three quarters of a million people currently in relief camps risk outbreak of disease.

Rain has been falling in the area since 8 August, causing the worst floods in the region for a century.

The relief efforts are facing huge challenges. Thousands of people are without homes; many have lost possessions, and there are more unaccounted for.

Drop Inn hope to respond quickly and effectively.
