Hurricane Matthew in Haiti

Haiti has been hit by a catastrophic hurricane which has caused widespread devastation in the small country.

Haiti is already one of the poorest countries on the planet and each natural disaster just makes worse an already bad situation. With poor quality buildings and virtually nothing in the way of flood prevention, Hurricane Matthew has already done massive damage.

Our partners have informed us they are safe along with the school children, however they are facing a difficult task.

Pictures are showing what we feared: widespread flooding and people struggling to cope with devastation.
