Drop Inn Prayer Newsletter April 2017

Drop Inn Latvia was established in 2010 with Igor Oginsky and since 2014 the work has continued with Gena Cepuli.

There are various areas that Drop Inn have concentrated on to bring hope, help and healing to the most needy, isolated and rejected people of Latvia.

Each month we help 30 families from different villages with food, clothes and other material assistance. As a result, 2 churches have opened in the villages of Zebrene and Biksti.

There is a home for elderly people that is visited once a month. 45 people always expect our team with joy and are grateful for the support that is given.

Twice a month, we visit a Rehab centre for drug addicts and alcoholics. Pray for these people to experience complete freedom from dependence and find their purpose in following God. Doors are also opening to develop relationships with other rehab centres.

A highlight for many young people is the summer camp we run for teenagers. Many cannot afford to attend other camps so we are so glad to sponsor them so they can have a great week with friends singing, playing and learning more about God.

Latvia receives many of the shoebox that are sent from Drop Inn HQ in Northern Ireland and our team were delighted to hand out gifts to precious children in different Children’s Homes, boarding schools and family homes over the Christmas period.

Gena has been representing Drop Inn for 3 years and he says We are grateful to God for your open hearts to be part of our common cause to which the Lord has called us”.

As you pray for this work, would you pray for clear vision. Pray for wisdom in building up structure and team of Drop Inn Latvia. Pray that they would be a blessing to their country and to other countries.

Bless you
Neil
